About Us

Snowflake Directors Volunteering at OFB The goals of Snowflake Benefit Pageant are to spread awareness about food insecurity and hunger, raise money for local food banks, and help pageant participants to become confident spokespeople all while having fun and making new friends.

No One Can Thrive on an Empty Stomach

42 million people face hunger in the U.S. today — including nearly 13 million children and more than five million seniors. Hunger knows no boundaries — it touches every community in the U.S., including your own. Learn more about Food Insecurity.

Snowflake Pageant is a natural benefit pageant that encourages participants to collect food and raise funds for their local food bank while also offering fun opportunities to show poise in a party dress or prom gown, runway style modeling in a holiday themed outfit, public speaking through a personal introduction, and practicing answering questions like you would for a job interview. Younger competitors are not allowed to wear makeup and older competitors are only allowed what would be typically worn at a business meeting. Optional events are also available to sign up for like Most Photogenic, Talent and Casual Wear Modeling. Entry fees are low and all profits from pageants are donated to local food banks.

Snowflake Pageant is open to all ages, genders and abilities.

Snowflake Benefit Pageant is proud to raise awareness and funds for non-profit food bank agencies whose mission is to eliminate hunger and its root causes. Helping communities become more food secure addresses the root causes of hunger and goes hand-in-hand with their work to help people living with low incomes meet their short-term food needs.
